I'm a millenial in my late 30s, and grown up with early windows and late dos games. I hardly play with them anymore, except some custom maps and mods for oldschool fps games, but I do defenetly love those early midi music. However, back in the day we were kinda limited by that horrible 4mb microsoft soundfont, so i've started reworking music with higher resolution soundfonts and instruments. In the end of the day, it is indeed just a music sheet: tells you what instrument needs to be activated in what tone. Turns out it is indeed possible to create almost lifelike music out of these beepboop level of tunes. I have started a bandcamp profile, and currently at around 50 games / albums. The whole pack costs 10 bucks if you want them. Feel free to ask for your own midi reworks.

If I have the freetime, also do translations for games and free foss opensource apps (fairmail, catima, molly, drodify, liberapay, blokada). Currently the foss apps and projects in general are usually not as great as the premium competition (well duh), but I do believe that we defenetly should contribute to these codes, even if its just a stupid translation.

Not gonna lie, the donations are most likely gonna be invested in food and bills, cause we all know living in Hungary is not a dream, especially since covid...but I guess this is also true for everyone living in middle and eastern EU countries.
