The PRIDE Project are a new Queer led org based in Manchester, England. The PRIDE stands for The People's Revolutionary Intercommunalist Defense and Education. The first goal of the org is setting up and operating The PRIDE Library in Manchester in order to communalise intellectual resources, encourage reading groups and ideological consolidation among cadres, and to act as a hub from which we can organise community programmes once established. The truth is that under current conditions we're not just on the defensive, we are ineffectually so - as a class we're on the back foot and most people don't even know how to begin to defend ourselves properly, never mind go on the offensive. We can only expect further criminalisation and repression as the reaction to our resistance, whatever we do, and so we must take steps to prepare each other. We are not a charity, business, or incorporated organisation. All initial funding has come internally from The PRIDE Project members, as of time of writing we have no other sources of income and appreciate donations of all sizes. All donations will go towards covering our rent and other expenses.
