Havana-based Hip-hop duo, Yisi and Darwin Calibre, known as Golpe Seko have been selected to perform at Festival Marvin in Mexico City and we want to get them there to share their gift with the people!

The couple from Santiago de Cuba have fiercely labored to see their dreams come to fruition as artist-activists whose sound is an intoxicating mix of son, rumba, jazz, soul, dancehall, dubstep and African-influenced funk.

Aaaand they are the parents of a bright and beautiful boy-child who is the next up and coming emcee:)

English Translation: In the name of preserving, disseminating and joining in solidarity in the name of Hip Hop culture- We have been invited to Mexico City to share our labors for the culture via Rap music at a Hip Hop festival [Festival Marvin]. We are not in a financial position to attend, and earnestly ask you to support us how you can.
