438punk.house is a Mastodon instance intending to serve punks, queers, anarchists and our friends who are based in Tiohtià:ke aka Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is our attempt to get more of our friends on Montreal using Mastodon and the Fediverse instead of corporate social media for the punk-adjacent online social connection, including for promoting and talking about shows and music. But really it will be up to the users what the instance gets used for.

AskAPunk is a publicly available calendar of punk shows and events for Montreal. It is also available on the Fediverse. The goal of AskAPunk is to provide a free anti-corporate alternative to facebook and instagram for sharing and promoting local shows.

Wyrmsign is a private invite-only bookwyrm instance for our local Montreal punks and friends.

There are small server costs associated with running this "network of services". We pay out of pocket, but we welcome donations to help cover these costs!
